Important information for Campers and Mentors

IMPORTANT INFO FOR CAMPERS:

Applications are now open for campers! We will close applications when we have reached 40 confirmed attendees. The 'camp' will run 9am to 4pm from Monday 15-Friday 19 January 2018, with a daytime concert on Saturday 20 January.
No overnight camping is involved.
No musical experience is necessary. Campers need to be available for the whole week.
There are only 40 places available. GR!C can’t guarantee all applications will be successful. All applications will go through a moderation process by the executive committee, with a priority towards diversity, creativity and effort in their applications.
The enrolment fee is $250 for the week. We are crowdfunding to provide some scholarship placements for low-income families. If you are interested, please email us at girlsrockcampaotearoa@gmail.com
All mentors will be police vetted as required as part of the Children’s Worker Safety Check under the Vulnerable Children Act 2014.

IMPORTANT INFO FOR MENTORS:

Applications are now open for mentors and close Friday 17 November. Applicants will be notified by Early december, for police checks to commence. The 'camp' will run 9am to 4pm from Monday 15-Friday 19 January 2018, with a daytime concert on Saturday 20 January. No overnight camping is involved. Mentors must be available on these dates, and available for a training workshop Saturday 13 January.

There are only 20 places available for paid mentors but volunteer positions will be available. GR!C can’t guarantee all applications will be successful.
All applications will go through a moderation process by the executive committee, with a priority towards those with experience working with young people.
All mentors and volunteers will need to apply for a police check as required as part of the Children’s Worker Safety Check under the Vulnerable Children Act 2014.
